Darrell Sanchez, Ph.D. has been involved with the performance, motivation, theory and practice of dance since 1974. During that time, he was a professional modern dancer for eleven years where he toured, performed and gave lecture/demonstrations.  He has also spent extensive time in the study and practice of therapeutic movement, psychology and the creative process.  He has been dancing, performing and teaching Argentine Tango since 1998.

Sue Thompson has come from early and extensive training in dance and gymnastics. She has also been an avid student of classical piano.  Sue has studied comprehensively many dance forms including ballet, modern, tap and salsa. Her love, however, is Argentine Tango. She has been dancing, studying and performing tango in the Boulder/Denver area since 2000 and has been teaching tango since 2005.

Both Sue and Darrell have studied with a long list of Argentine tango teachers and have trained extensively with the best the tango world has to offer. Their foremost teachers over the years include Gustavo Naveira and Giselle Anne, Luciana Valle, and Julio Balmaceda and Corina De La Rosa.
